What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you add a brand to monitor, we store the brand name and product categories you provide. We collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not collect payment card information directly — that is handled by Stripe.
How we use it
We use your email to send you trademark monitoring alerts, billing receipts, and occasional product updates. We use brand data exclusively to run monitoring against the USPTO database on your behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required to operate the service (Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery).
Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Alert history associated with your brands is deleted at the same time.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account at any time from your account settings. To request a data export or ask any privacy-related question, email us at hello@heromark.app.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
